  1. I’d love to see this experiment repeated in neighborhoods of different socio-economic status so that we could compare the results. (But then again, that equals $100 a pop!) It appears that people, when satisfied or self-occupied, can march forward with such determination that they perhaps miss their calling.

  2. Gosh, I’ve been looking about this specific topic for about an hour, glad i found it in your website!

  3. Hi Elizabeth

I agree I am guilt of not being observant of my environment as well. For me the video showed me how money is all around us even when we don’t see.

I also do agree that if I were to walk by the money tree and see it I would think it was a trick as well.

It definitely makes you think on my levels.
    Thanks for leaving a comment

  4. I wonder what would have happened if they were $100 bills? I thought it was sweet that people took just one or two, and left some for others to take. I think I would have done this too. I know that I am often not observant of my environment much of the time. If I had my mind on something or was intent on getting somewhere, I probably would have not seen the money tree either. If I DID see it, I might have been afraid it was a trick, like candid camera. There used to be a store around here that had a nickel glued to the floor and they would get a big laugh if you reached down to pick it up. I found it humiliating. It bothered me because why wouldn’t I pick up a free nickel? I pick up pennies constantly. Thanks for posting this video. I enjoyed thinking about it.
