Being focus can be easier said than done, but it is necessary if you want to accomplish any and all goals. Our lives are very busy and complex but the difference between the people who allow there hectic lives to derail them from getting the life they want and the people that don’t, is focus.

Maintaining a healthy momentum with your goals is necessary and in order to do that you will need to harness the ability to focus. I practice mindfulness, which most of you have heard of and for those of you that have not, mindfulness is a practice of staying (present) or focused on what you are doing.
Quick exercise on practicing mindfulness
The next time you go for a walk, even if it is a small one, focus all of your attention on your body, feel your breath, move your attention all the way down to your feet. As you take each step, feel the surface coming in connect with your feet.
As you practice taking each step say in your mind “I am Walking and that is all I am doing” Keep you attention on your body moving, your breath, and your feet. Your eye should be looking just out in front of your feet, keep your gaze soft, and relax your face.
If your thoughts start to wander repeat the above phrase, “I am Walking and that is all I am doing”, then bring your attention back into your body.

To be mindfully engaged is the most natural, creative state we can be in.
